Advocacy can include anything from requesting educational records, organizing educational records, requests for testing, reviewing and making recommendations on current 504/IEP, role playing for 504/IEP meetings, understanding student’s needs and accommodations, attending 504/IEP meetings, preparing for mediation and/or due process, understanding Psychoeducational Reports, understanding the bell curve, understanding Child Find, Procedural Safeguards, Prior Written Notice, understanding rights, and anything Special Education.
